InsulCube™ Use and Care

Use Instructions:

Wet clean washcloths; then fold them in half and roll tightly from the short end;
Place wet, rolled washcloth in a plastic zippered bag.
Place four individually bagged washcloths in the microwave and heat approximately ½ to 1 minute or until desired temperature is reached. Microwave times may vary. DO NOT MICROWAVE THE INSULCUBE™. Washcloths will be very hot! It is advisable to use an oven mitt to handle them. You want them to be a little too hot if it will be more than an hour before your guests will use them as they will cool slightly before they are used by your guests. Some air may get trapped in the plastic baggie during microwaving, if so, just “burp” the bag, re-zip it and wrap the excess baggie end around the washcloth (keeps in even more heat).
Then place the four bagged, hot washcloths into the InsulCube™; they stack 2 on 2. Don’t tug too hard on the opening of the wrap. Just work the washcloth in gently, they need to be in there tightly so they maintain more heat. Rest assured they are easier for your guests to get out than for you to put in.
Place the InsulCube™ in an insulated tote or equivalent for transporting to your party. Using an insulated tote, Styrofoam chest, or regular ice chest helps keep the InsulCube™ warmer for a longer period of time.

The InsulCube™ (and washcloths) will stay very warm for 2 hours in the insulated tote…once removed they will cool down over a period of 1 ½ - 2 hours depending on how long they were in the tote and how hot they were when placed in. Remember, you don’t need them too hot as hot washcloths can stimulate too much oil production in the skin. You just want the washcloths to be comfortably warm. For your guest’s sake and the sake of your presentation, you may find it helpful to do a trial run with the washcloths the day before your first party to see how long they need to microwave for the amount of time they will be in the InsulCube™. The perfect temperature will speak volumes to your guests.

Care Instructions:

Do not machine wash or iron the InsulCube™. Machine dry on low setting only for less than 15 minutes. Surface clean only using a damp sponge with mild, antibacterial detergent. Turn inside out to dry thoroughly (air or tumble dry on LOW heat). Remove promptly from dryer and tug the InsulCube™ into shape before allowing the bag to cool.

Washcloths:

If you have purchased washcloths from us be sure to wash and dry them prior to first use; they will become thicker and softer after initial wash/dry.
